ScoutingClimbing Wall

The Scouting Program is a United Methodist Ministry by which youth and families can be nurtured and given an opportunity to know and learn about God and His great outdoors. Scouting provides fun, fellowship, and training to our youth ffrom Grade 1 - 20 years in our church and community. It is a year round program that emphasizes honesty, self-reliance and respect, and builds character, citizenship, and personal fitness.

Our Scouts help support the church with numerous projects such as the outdoor chapel, church grounds, parking lot, parsonage flower beds, organizing the library and storage areas, and numerous projects throughout our community.

If you have a son, daughter, grandson, or granddaughter who may be interested in becoming a Scout in any of the programs at Tabernacle UMC, or if you would like to become a leader, please contact one of the following for more information:
